We proudly offer up to six months of housing for new employees. The first three months are a taxable benefit (no rent), and the remaining three months are offered at $1,200 a month (starting July 2025) or the current market rate. For more information, please email us at housing@odu.edu.
Housing Accommodations:
- Our guests live in fully furnished, air-conditioned apartments. Utilities included!
- Each apartment has cable TV connections and WI-FI enabled.
- Access to laundry facilities, a kitchenette with a microwave and stovetop, and 24-hour on-call emergency maintenance.
- All new employees must have a sponsoring office/department to request these accommodations.
Location
The Nusbaum Apartments Complex is located in Colley Bay; this area features shopping, restaurants, theaters, and recreation. In addition, you will be in close proximity to Chartway Arena, home to the ODU Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, a facility that hosts family-oriented events, concerts, and lectures.
