Sina Razzaghi Asl is an interdisciplinary social and environmental scientist whose work lies at the intersection of hazards geography and nature-based solutions. His research addresses the challenge of applying spatial vulnerability and resilience frameworks across diverse contexts, with a focus on incorporating local dynamics in responding to environmental hazards and disasters. He employs advanced geospatial techniques, remote sensing, and spatial statistical analyses to examine the complex relationships between various types of nature-based solutions, social vulnerability indicators, and hazard outcomes. His goal is to inform strategies that mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change. He earned his Ph.D. in Geography from Temple University and subsequently served as a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University.
