Do you want to make ODU Libraries better for other students? Do you just love libraries? Join the Libraries’ Student Advisory Council and have your voice heard! The Libraries Student Advisory Council (LSAC) works with ODU librarians to improve the Libraries as a place to study, research, and collaborate and shares updates from the ODU Libraries with other students.
The council works on projects to help the Libraries better meet students’ needs and provides feedback on library spaces, services and technologies. This year, the council will be working on a study of how students use space in Perry Library in order to better support those uses and contribute to space-planning efforts and make the library easier to navigate.
Any currently enrolled student (undergraduate or graduate) is eligible to serve on the council. The student advisory council requires a time commitment of approximately 6-8 hours per month, including 1-2 in person meetings each month during Activity Hour. For the Fall 2025 semester, LSAC will meet on:
• October 2nd
• October 30th
• November 20th
